1.  *     سورة الواقعة  بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ٛــــ اذا وقعت الواقعة     swr+ alwaq`+  bsm allh alrHmn alrHym ? aXa wq`t alwaq`+     When/if the battle/Resurrection/event fell/happened.     When the Event inevitable cometh to pass,
 
2.  *     ليس لوقعتها كاذبة     lys lwq`tha kaXb+     (There) is not to its falling/happening a liar/deniance/falsehood.     Then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming.
 
3.  *     خافضة رافعة     KafD+ raf`+     Lowering/reducing, raising/removing away.     (Many) will it bring low; (many) will it exalt;
 
4.  *     اذا رجت الارض رجا     aXa rjt alarD rja     When/if the earth/Planet Earth trembled and quaked, trembling and quaking.     When the earth shall be shaken to its depths,
 
5.  *     وبست الجبال بسا     wbst aljbal bsa     And the mountains was crumbled/scattered, crumbling/scattering.     And the mountains shall be crumbled to atoms,
 
6.  *     فكانت هباء منبثا     fkant hba' mnbxa     So it was dust scattered/distributed.     Becoming dust scattered abroad,
 
7.  *     وكنتم ازواجا ثلاثة     wkntm azwaja xlax+     And you were three kinds.     And ye shall be sorted out into three classes.
 
8.  *     فاصحاب الميمنة مااصحاب الميمنة     faSHab almymn+ maaSHab almymn+     So owners/company/friends (of) the blessing/right (hand), (are) owners/company/friends (of) the blessing/right (hand)!     Then (there will be) the Companions of the Right Hand;- What will be the Companions of the Right Hand?
 
9.  *     واصحاب المشأمة مااصحاب المشأمة     waSHab alm$Am+ maaSHab alm$Am+     And owners/company/friends (of) the bad omen/left side/misfortune, (are) owners/company/ friends (of) the bad/omen/left side/misfortune.     And the Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand?
 
10.  *     والسابقون السابقون     walsabqwn alsabqwn     And the racing/surpassing, (are) the racing/surpassing.     And those Foremost (in Faith) will be Foremost (in the Hereafter).
 
11.  *     اولئك المقربون     awlYk almqrbwn     Those are the neared/closer.     These will be those Nearest to Allah.
 
12.  *     في جنات النعيم     fy jnat aln`ym     In treed gardens/paradises (of) the comfort and ease.     In Gardens of Bliss:
 
13.  *     ثلة من الاولين     xl+ mn alawlyn     A group from the first/beginners.     A number of people from those of old,
 
14.  *     وقليل من الاخرين     wqlyl mn alaKryn     And little/few from the others/lasts.     And a few from those of later times.
 
15.  *     على سرر موضونة     `li srr mwDwn+     On royal beds/sofas lightly woven.     (They will be) on Thrones encrusted (with gold and precious stones),
 
16.  *     متكئين عليها متقابلين     mtkYyn `lyha mtqablyn     Leaning/reclining on it, facing each other.     Reclining on them, facing each other.
 
17.  *     يطوف عليهم ولدان مخلدون     yTwf `lyhm wldan mKldwn     Immortal/eternal children/boys circle/walk around on them.     Round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness),
 
18.  *     باكواب واباريق وكاس من معين     bakwab wabaryq wkas mn m`yn     With cups and jugs and a cup/wine flowing easily and plentifully.     With goblets, (shining) beakers, and cups (filled) out of clear-flowing fountains:
 
19.  *     لايصدعون عنها ولاينزفون     laySd`wn `nha wlaynzfwn     They do not get headache from it, and nor they be drunk/exhausted.     No after-ache will they receive therefrom, nor will they suffer intoxication:
 
20.  *     وفاكهة مما يتخيرون     wfakh+ mma ytKyrwn     And fruits from what they prefer/choose.     And with fruits, any that they may select:
 
21.  *     ولحم طير مما يشتهون     wlHm Tyr mma y$thwn     And bird's meat from what they desire.     And the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire.
 
22.  *     وحور عين     wHwr `yn     And eyes with intense blackness of pupils and whiteness (beautifully contrasted).     And (there will be) Companions with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes,-
 
23.  *     كامثال اللؤلؤ المكنون     kamxal allWlW almknwn     As/like similar/equal (to) the pearls, the covered/protected.     Like unto Pearls well-guarded.
 
24.  *     جزاء بما كانوا يعملون     jza' bma kanwa y`mlwn     Reimbursement because (of) what they were making/doing.     A Reward for the deeds of their past (life).
 
25.  *     لايسمعون فيها لغوا ولاتاثيما     laysm`wn fyha lGwa wlataxyma     They do not hear/listen (to) nonsense/senseless talk in it, and nor sinning/committing crimes.     Not frivolity will they hear therein, nor any taint of ill,-
 
26.  *     الا قيلا سلاما سلاما     ala qyla slama slama     Except little : "Greeting/peace." (And): "Greeting/peace."     Only the saying, "Peace! Peace".
 
27.  *     واصحاب اليمين مااصحاب اليمين     waSHab alymyn maaSHab alymyn     And the right (hand's) owners/company/friends, (are) the right (hand's) owners/company/friends!.     The Companions of the Right Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Right Hand?
 
28.  *     في سدر مخضود     fy sdr mKDwd     In bent over/thornless/ripe sedre/a lote tree.     (They will be) among Lote-trees without thorns,
 
29.  *     وطلح منضود     wTlH mnDwd     And acacia/bananas, neatly piled over each other.     Among Talh trees with flowers (or fruits) piled one above another,-
 
30.  *     وظل ممدود     wZl mmdwd     And shade expanded/spread.     In shade long-extended,
 
31.  *     وماء مسكوب     wma' mskwb     And poured continuously water.     By water flowing constantly,
 
32.  *     وفاكهة كثيرة     wfakh+ kxyr+     And many/much fruits.     And fruit in abundance.
 
33.  *     لامقطوعة ولاممنوعة     lamqTw`+ wlammnw`+     Not cut off/severed, and nor prohibited/forbidden.     Whose season is not limited, nor (supply) forbidden,
 
34.  *     وفرش مرفوعة     wfr$ mrfw`+     And raised spreads/beds.     And on Thrones (of Dignity), raised high.
 
35.  *     انا انشاناهن انشاء     ana an$anahn an$a'     We (E) created/originated them (F) creation/origination.     We have created (their Companions) of special creation.
 
36.  *     فجعلناهن ابكارا     fj`lnahn abkara     So We created/made them (F) first borns/virgins.     And made them virgin - pure (and undefiled), -
 
37.  *     عربا اترابا     `rba atraba     Humorous (amusing) same age/not aging.     Beloved (by nature), equal in age,-
 
38.  *     لاصحاب اليمين     laSHab alymyn     To the right (hand's) owners/friends/company.     For the Companions of the Right Hand.
 
39.  *     ثلة من الاولين     xl+ mn alawlyn     A group from the first/beginners.     A (goodly) number from those of old,
 
40.  *     وثلة من الاخرين     wxl+ mn alaKryn     And a group from the others/lasts.     And a (goodly) number from those of later times.
 
41.  *     واصحاب الشمال مااصحاب الشمال     waSHab al$mal maaSHab al$mal     And the left (hand's) owners/friends/company, (are) the left (hand's) owners/friends/company !.     The Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand?
 
42.  *     في سموم وحميم     fy smwm wHmym     In severe hot wind, and hot water/red hot coal.     (They will be) in the midst of a Fierce Blast of Fire and in Boiling Water,
 
43.  *     وظل من يحموم     wZl mn yHmwm     And shade from black smoke.     And in the shades of Black Smoke:
 
44.  *     لابارد ولاكريم     labard wlakrym     Not cool/cold, and nor hospitable/kind.     Nothing (will there be) to refresh, nor to please:
 
45.  *     انهم كانوا قبل ذلك مترفين     anhm kanwa qbl Xlk mtrfyn     That they truly were before that luxuriated, ungrateful and arrogant.     For that they were wont to be indulged, before that, in wealth (and luxury),
 
46.  *     وكانوا يصرون على الحنث العظيم     wkanwa ySrwn `li alHnx al`Zym     And they were persisting/insisting on the sin the great.     And persisted obstinately in wickedness supreme!
 
47.  *     وكانوا يقولون ائذا متنا وكنا ترابا وعظاما ائنا لمبعوثون     wkanwa yqwlwn aYXa mtna wkna traba w`Zama aYna lmb`wxwn     And they were saying: "Is (it that) if we died, and we were dust/earth and bones, are we being resurrected/revived?"     And they used to say, "What! when we die and become dust and bones, shall we then indeed be raised up again?-
 
48.  *     او اباؤنا الاولون     aw abaWna alawlwn     Or (are) our fathers the first/beginners?     "(We) and our fathers of old?"
 
49.  *     قل ان الاولين والاخرين     ql an alawlyn walaKryn     Say: "That truly the first/beginners and the lasts/others."     Say: "Yea, those of old and those of later times,
 
50.  *     لمجموعون الى ميقات يوم معلوم     lmjmw`wn ali myqat ywm m`lwm     Are being gathered/collected (E) to a known day's appointed time.     "All will certainly be gathered together for the meeting appointed for a Day well-known.
 
51.  *     ثم انكم ايها الضالون المكذبون     xm ankm ayha alDalwn almkXbwn     Then, that you are, you the misguided, the liars/deniers/falsifiers.     "Then will ye truly,- O ye that go wrong, and treat (Truth) as Falsehood!-
 
52.  *     لاكلون من شجر من زقوم     laklwn mn $jr mn zqwm     Eating exaggerated/gluttons (E) from trees from deadly food.     "Ye will surely taste of the Tree of Zaqqum.
 
53.  *     فمالئون منها البطون     fmalYwn mnha albTwn     So you are filling from it the bellies/insides.     "Then will ye fill your insides therewith,
 
54.  *     فشاربون عليه من الحميم     f$arbwn `lyh mn alHmym     So you are drinking on it from the hot water/red hot coal.     "And drink Boiling Water on top of it:
 
55.  *     فشاربون شرب الهيم     f$arbwn $rb alhym     So you are drinking the extreme thirst's drink.     "Indeed ye shall drink like diseased camels raging with thirst!"
 
56.  *     هذا نزلهم يوم الدين     hXa nzlhm ywm aldyn     That (is) their places of descent (on) the Judgment Day/Resurrection Day.     Such will be their entertainment on the Day of Requital!
 
57.  *     نحن خلقناكم فلولا تصدقون     nHn Klqnakm flwla tSdqwn     We created you, so if only you believe Me.     It is We Who have created you: why will ye not witness the Truth?
 
58.  *     افرايتم ماتمنون     afraytm matmnwn     Did you see/understand what you ejaculate/discharge semen/sperm?     Do ye then see?- The (human Seed) that ye throw out,-
 
59.  *     ءانتم تخلقونه ام نحن الخالقون     'antm tKlqwnh am nHn alKalqwn     Do you create it? Or We are the creators?     Is it ye who create it, or are We the Creators?
 
60.  *     نحن قدرنا بينكم الموت ومانحن بمسبوقين     nHn qdrna bynkm almwt wmanHn bmsbwqyn     We predestined between you the death/lifelessness, and We are not with being surpassed/preceded.     We have decreed Death to be your common lot, and We are not to be frustrated
 
61.  *     على ان نبدل امثالكم وننشئكم في مالاتعلمون     `li an nbdl amxalkm wnn$Ykm fy malat`lmwn     On that We exchange/replace similar/equal to you, and We create/originate you in what you do not know.     from changing your Forms and creating you (again) in (forms) that ye know not.
 
62.  *     ولقد علمتم النشاة الاولى فلولا تذكرون     wlqd `lmtm aln$a+ alawli flwla tXkrwn     And you had (E) known the creation/origination, the first/beginning, so if only you mention/remember ?     And ye certainly know already the first form of creation: why then do ye not celebrate His praises?
 
63.  *     افرايتم ماتحرثون     afraytm matHrxwn     Did you see/understand what you cultivate/plant ?     See ye the seed that ye sow in the ground?
 
64.  *     ءانتم تزرعونه ام نحن الزارعون     'antm tzr`wnh am nHn alzar`wn     Do you sow/seed/cultivate it ? Or We are the sowers/seeders/cultivators?401     Is it ye that cause it to grow, or are We the Cause?
 
65.  *     لو نشاء لجعلناه حطاما فظلتم تفكهون     lw n$a' lj`lnah HTama fZltm tfkhwn     If We willed/wanted We would have made it debris/crumbs, so you continued/remained regretting/wondering.     Were it Our Will, We could crumble it to dry powder, and ye would be left in wonderment,
 
66.  *     انا لمغرمون     ana lmGrmwn     That We, We are in burdensome debt/loss (E).     (Saying), "We are indeed left with debts (for nothing):
 
67.  *     بل نحن محرومون     bl nHn mHrwmwn     But We are deprived.     "Indeed are we shut out (of the fruits of our labour)"
 
68.  *     افرايتم الماء الذي تشربون     afraytm alma' alXy t$rbwn     Did you see/understand the water which you drink?     See ye the water which ye drink?
 
69.  *     ءانتم انزلتموه من المزن ام نحن المنزلون     'antm anzltmwh mn almzn am nHn almnzlwn     Did you descend it from the rain/clouds ? Or We are the descenders?     Do ye bring it down (in rain) from the cloud or do We?
 
70.  *     لو نشاء جعلناه اجاجا فلولا تشكرون     lw n$a' j`lnah ajaja flwla t$krwn     If We will/want We made it salty and bitter, so if only you thank/be grateful.     Were it Our Will, We could make it salt (and unpalatable): then why do ye not give thanks?
 
71.  *     افرايتم النار التي تورون     afraytm alnar alty twrwn     Did you see/understand the fire which you strike/ignite?     See ye the Fire which ye kindle?
 
72.  *     ءانتم انشاتم شجرتها ام نحن المنشئون     'antm an$atm $jrtha am nHn almn$Ywn     Did you create its trees? Or We are the creators/originators ?     Is it ye who grow the tree which feeds the fire, or do We grow it?
 
73.  *     نحن جعلناها تذكرة ومتاعا للمقوين     nHn j`lnaha tXkr+ wmta`a llmqwyn     We made it a reminder and a long life/enjoyment to the hungry/starving.     We have made it a memorial (of Our handiwork), and an article of comfort and convenience for the denizens of deserts.
 
74.  *     فسبح باسم ربك العظيم     fsbH basm rbk al`Zym     So praise/glorify with your Lord's name, the great.     Then celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme!
 
75.  *     فلا اقسم بمواقع النجوم     fla aqsm bmwaq` alnjwm     So I do not (many translations disagree on the use of the negative in this verse it could possibly mean emphasis) swear/make oath with the stars'/planets' positions.     Furthermore I call to witness the setting of the Stars,-
 
76.  *     وانه لقسم لو تعلمون عظيم     wanh lqsm lw t`lmwn `Zym     And that it truly is an oath (E), if you know (it is) great.     And that is indeed a mighty adjuration if ye but knew,-
 
77.  *     انه لقران كريم     anh lqran krym     That it truly (is) a Koran (E), honoured.     That this is indeed a qur'an Most Honourable,
 
78.  *     في كتاب مكنون     fy ktab mknwn     In a Book, protected/covered.     In Book well-guarded,
 
79.  *     لايمسه الا المطهرون     laymsh ala almThrwn     None touches it except the pure/clean.     Which none shall touch but those who are clean:
 
80.  *     تنزيل من رب العالمين     tnzyl mn rb al`almyn     Descant from the creations all together's/(universes') Lord.     A Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds.
 
81.  *     افبهذا الحديث انتم مدهنون     afbhXa alHdyx antm mdhnwn     So is it with this, the information/speech, you are greasing/cheating ?     Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem?
 
82.  *     وتجعلون رزقكم انكم تكذبون     wtj`lwn rzqkm ankm tkXbwn     And you make/put your provision that you are lying/denying.     And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false?
 
83.  *     فلولا اذا بلغت الحلقوم     flwla aXa blGt alHlqwm     So if only that the throat/pharynx (the death) reached.     Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,-
 
84.  *     وانتم حينئذ تنظرون     wantm HynYX tnZrwn     And you are at that time looking/watching.     And ye the while (sit) looking on,-
 
85.  *     ونحن اقرب اليه منكم ولكن لاتبصرون     wnHn aqrb alyh mnkm wlkn latbSrwn     And We are nearer/closer to it than you, and but you do not see/understand.     But We are nearer to him than ye, and yet see not,-
 
86.  *     فلولا ان كنتم غير مدينين     flwla an kntm Gyr mdynyn     So if only if you were not indebted.     Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,-
 
87.  *     ترجعونها ان كنتم صادقين     trj`wnha an kntm Sadqyn     You return it (the life), if you were truthful.     Call back the soul, if ye are true (in the claim of independence)?
 
88.  *     فاما ان كان من المقربين     fama an kan mn almqrbyn     So but if he was from the neared/closer.     Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah,
 
89.  *     فروح وريحان وجنة نعيم     frwH wryHan wjn+ n`ym     So a happiness/rest/mercy, and basil/fragrant plants, and treed gardens/paradises, and comfort and ease (is for him).     (There is for him) Rest and Satisfaction, and a Garden of Delights.
 
90.  *     واما ان كان من اصحاب اليمين     wama an kan mn aSHab alymyn     But/as for if (he) was from the right (hand's) owners/company/friends.     And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand,
 
91.  *     فسلام لك من اصحاب اليمين     fslam lk mn aSHab alymyn     So greeting/peace (is) for you from the right (hands') owners/company/friends.     (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand.
 
92.  *     واما ان كان من المكذبين الضالين     wama an kan mn almkXbyn alDalyn     And but/as for if (he) was from the liars/deniers/falsifiers, the misguided.     And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong,
 
93.  *     فنزل من حميم     fnzl mn Hmym     So a place of descent from hot water/red hot coal.     For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water.
 
94.  *     وتصلية جحيم     wtSly+ jHym     And Hell's roasting/suffering.     And burning in Hell-Fire.
 
95.  *     ان هذا لهو حق اليقين     an hXa lhw Hq alyqyn     That truly that it is (E) true, the assurance/certainty.     Verily, this is the Very Truth and Certainly.
 
96.  *     فسبح باسم ربك العظيم     fsbH basm rbk al`Zym     So praise/glorify with your Lord's name, the great.402     So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme.
